150,000 SF Manufacturing Reorganization Space Planning

Controlled Construction Reporting to Town of Hudson

GDHA as Project Architect served the property owner, Prudential Rear Estate Investors

to accomplish a new two-story 50,000 SF addition resulting in a final building of 150,000 SF.

 

This building had an existing technology manufacturing tenant which remained in full operation due to detailed construction phase planning involving the tenant, GDHA, and Property Owner in weekly planning sessions and extensive special efforts by the contractor and its various sub-contractors.  

 

GDHA provided architectural site planning and design, local permitting, preparation of construction documents, management of the Engineering Team, construction 'fast-track' phase inspections and project close-out services.  GDHA also provided 'Controlled Construction' services and reporting to the Town of Hudson, Inspection Department.

In a second phase of the work, GDHA served the tenant (ACT Manufacturing) in providing interior space and manufacturing planning services to accomplish a complete tenant fit-out renovation and manufacturing equipment reorganization of its 150,000 SF Headquarters and manufacturing facility.  The operation was expanded while manufacturing operations continued requiring extensive off-hour construction and demanding building system coordination.
